Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to all tours sold by The Tuscan Show Srl (VAT IT07531330483) directly through this website, WhatsApp, iMessage, or by phone. Tours sold through third-party platforms (e.g., GetYourGuide) are governed by the cancellation policy of that platform.

1. Cancellation by the Customer

You may cancel or request to reschedule your booking by sending a message to David on iMessage or WhatsApp at +39 352 077 8429, or by email at info@thetuscanshow.com.

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Refund amount depends on the time of cancellation, calculated relative to the scheduled tour departure time:

Time before tour Refund
More than 24 hours 100% full refund (Stripe processing fees included)
Less than 24 hours, or no-show No refund

Free reschedule: if you cancel more than 24 hours before the tour, you may also choose to reschedule to any available future date at no cost — instead of taking a refund. The rescheduled tour must be booked within 12 months from the original tour date.

2. Cancellation by The Tuscan Show

If we cancel a tour for any reason within our control (including but not limited to vehicle failure, host unavailability, or operational issues), you are entitled to choose any of the following:

  • A full refund (100%, Stripe processing fees included), or
  • A free reschedule to another available date, or
  • A voucher valid for 60 months (5 years) from the original tour date, redeemable for any future tour subject to availability.

3. Weather Conditions

Tours run rain or shine. Most of the day is indoors (van, cantina, restaurant) and light rain does not stop the tour. San Gimignano in the rain is, in our experience, beautiful and uncrowded.

If weather conditions are severe enough that we, in our sole judgment, decide to cancel the tour for safety reasons (e.g., red weather alert, road closures, flooding, snowstorm), section 2 applies: full refund, free reschedule, or voucher — your choice.

The Customer cannot unilaterally cancel without a refund based on weather alone, unless cancellation is initiated by us.

4. Force Majeure

In case of events beyond reasonable control of either party — including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, war, civil unrest, government action, pandemic restrictions — the tour will be cancelled. The Customer may choose any of the following:

  • A full refund, or
  • A free reschedule to another available date, or
  • A voucher valid for 60 months (5 years) from the original tour date.

5. No-Show

If the Customer is not at the agreed pickup location at the agreed pickup time, and cannot be reached on the contact phone number provided at booking, after a reasonable wait (typically 15 minutes), the booking is considered a no-show. No refund is due.

Customers should ensure their contact phone is reachable in Italy on the day of the tour and that the pickup address is correct.

6. Group Bookings & Private Tours

For Private Van Tours and group bookings of 5 or more guests, a custom cancellation policy may apply, as specified in the booking confirmation. In absence of custom terms, this policy applies.

7. How to Request a Refund or Reschedule

To request a refund or reschedule, contact us by:

Please include your name, the date of the booked tour, and whether you'd like a refund or reschedule. We process refunds within 7 business days of approval. Funds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 additional business days, depending on your bank.

8. Modifications to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on this page at the moment of booking confirmation. Material changes will not be applied retroactively to existing bookings.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Florence (Tribunale di Firenze), Italy, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of the Customer's country of residence provide otherwise.
